I went to your site, but did not see anything about crash hot potatoes. I already followed your link to pioneerwomen.com yesterday to find the original recipe. My mistake, I thought you were going to post pics from last night's cook with crash hot potatoes. I would love to try them on the egg... I will do some further searching on the forum as JCinNV suggested...

One more question...

Do you boil first, smash and then put on the egg, or do you do the whole thing on the egg... What time/temp?

Morning AnnaG:

Just followed the recipe...boiled until "soft", smash flat, use oil and spices, then on the Egg. The recipe calls for 450 "oven", but yesterday I was almost out of lump so they ended "baking" at about 350 for 30 minutes. Still tasted fine, just not as "crispy" on the edges as they would have been at 450.
