I love Mexican food!! In 6 min.'s they covered every Mexican dish. I had to laugh when they said sushi with chile. Never had that one, might be interesting.

Why does the food in my favorite Mexican Restaurant look plain when compared to the food in the video? Spring Hen says it's because ours is "Tex-Mex" and not real Mexican food.

Yeap you are absolutely right..... happens to me anytime I go to another country & try to eat mexican......just not the same...the fresh ingredients...perhaps...or the real know how passed many times from generation to generation.....even the ambience could be crucial I suppose......If we have a México theme at Octoberfest and I get invited... :woohoo: I'll make sure we get as many original ingredients as possible.....

Ah, being an Angeleno (someone who grew up in Los Angeles), I was raised on Mexican food, from the cheap taco stands that sell taco's for a buck, to the better resturants that aren't much more expensive. As I write I'm warming up some of my homemade Peurco Pilbil. Awsome stuff.

Great movie, Beli! I love all Mexican cuisine.....make my own tortillas, both flour and corn, ancho chile sauce, tamales, cheese enchiladas, chiles rellenos, etc., etc.
