Overkill: Weedburner Worries

OK ...
You all know by now that I absolutely love my weedburner.
What you may not know is that I am picking up a small BGE at Ocala to join my resident, happy large.
And as you know, the propane tanks tend to cause rust rings (ring around the collar?) when always left outside and placed directly on an outdoor surface.
And finally, what you need to know are two facts:
Fact #1 - The boss (Pam) hates rust rings.
Fact #2 - The minion (Peter) tends to be a bit lazy, likes to tinker, and is preparing for the day when old age interferes with his bending over. :)

All that being said ...

I used to keep my propane tank in a milk crate or on a log near the large BGE. The "burner" has about a 3-foot hose on it, and it really needs to be within a foot or so of the egg in order to light and ignite it omba-style!
Well ...
After putting together the table for the large and the crib for the small, I realized that there was about a 4-foot space between the two eggs! See the problem cleverly portrayed in the diagram that follows:

Having built the table, I fiddled around making some practice runs with the weedburner. I pretended the small was in place and realized that I had forgotten to make allowances. Leaving it right there in the middle was just not going to work at all.
Now I know that the weedburner is probably overkill for the small, but once a "burner" always a "burner." The thought of waiting around for a good fire just irked me somewhat. And dealing out of ignorance, I needed a better solution.

Looking around the garage, I noticed the old large nest was just hanging around waiting to be probably donated to some worthy person or cause. What greater cause than my old age? :)

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present my temporary solution:

Thanks for your patience as always,
Peter
