called Dallas Expo Home Depot after reading the post: ((By: Cactus Doug - Expo design centers (a Home Depot Co.) are being closed, at my local store all BBQ stuff is at least 15% off including Eggs and Egg stuff including lump. Worth a look if there is one of these stores near you)).
Save your time in Dallas. They have 2 large eggs for $699 less 15% BUT without the insides, grates, nest, dvd, and more gone. They will not talk of any more discount now. said in a few weeks may be like 5% per week or so... buying by parts will cost more than an egg.

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Heh...going out of business liquidation and their prices are still higher than MSRP. Guess we know why Expo is being closed by Home Depot.
We have/had one just a few miles west of our place, and you could see fairly early on that the high-end business model wasn't going over well. They always had a lot of browsers, but the store went downscale fairly quickly when those browsers failed to actually buy things. We did get the Kitchenaid applicances from Expo for our remodeling project a few years ago, but we drove a hard bargain and they matched the pricing we got from a couple of internet stores.
