  • I really thought Big Ben deserved the MVP.

Ironic how the much-maligned offense (and offensive line) ultimately provided the win after all the early press went to the Pittsburgh defense.

BB showed tonight why he deserved that $100M contract.

Franco, how many of your friends fell in a river last night    , I am sure that place was a nut-house, what a great game, what a great team, we here on the east side of the state can only watch in amazement at how a real football franchise operates; can't we just rename them the Pennsylvania Steelers :woohoo:

  • During WWII they were the "Steagles!" Thank God we won the war, if not just to change that name!!!!! What a great game. Wow, am I hurting today. I hope I don't have any important decisions to make, because they probably won't be right. That was a Superbowl with enough great plays (from both teams) to fill a highlite reel. All I can say is "It's a great day to live in Western PA, and a great day to be a Steelers fan!!!!!!!".

I tried explaining to my kids that they were watching history, but it will take a few years for it to sink in. I'm just glad they sat and watched some of the game and the entire final drive. I feel lucky to have been able to watch all 6 wins, and even the one loss. Amazing that our offense actually bailed our "No. 1 defense in the NFL" out for the win. Who'd-a-thunk-it?
