My version of the Toronto veal sandwich. Start by putting some Italian, and red bell peppers in oil about three hours early. Don't seed the peppers, it needs the heat

Rub with garlic and pound out a little white veal scallopine

Flour, egg and milk wash and dip in Italian seasoned breadcrumbs. Fry on olive oil

Drain on a rack

Drop in some thinned marinara.

Put the veal on a panini, top with some peppers, parmesan and a bit of sauce.

Sorry, I posted this by mistake early and I have been editing it since. This is a Toronto classic.

Seems to me you forgot a little something that would have taken that sandwich to the next level.
If only there was some nice, hot antipasta you could put on there....... -
Rod,
Doesn't need the Bomb. The peppers are prety warm.

Marc,
It was a great game and a great halftime show. You really should try this sandwich. In Toronto and the surrounding area, every Italian bakery and pizzaria serves these.

I will try this sandwich. In fact, veal is one of those 'the wife doesn't prefer it' dinners that I have to restrict to when she isn't here; next weekend is a competition at the Meadowlands, girls gone, just me & the boy for a few days, time for some sandwiches

Marc,
I generally use red veal cause it has a bit more flavour but the white was on sale.

Marc,
White veal is the "milk fed" one that PETA gets so upset about. The Italians call it provimi. They are fed only milk and kept out of the sun. Red is "grain fed" just young cattle.

Well in that case, if it upsets PETA, it's good enough for me
I'll pop into my butcher shop & see what they have, go from there, but I see a lot of Locatelli on this puppy, I've got some new hotter than H pepper oil too, like liquid gold, made by the sister of one of my oldest friends, ate a tablespoon of it today on some asiago aside a bowl of escarole souphappy in the hut
