Well...I've had a hankering for some good Brisket Sammiches lately....but I'm not wanting all that flat meat to just give away...(since the "Chick" isn't a Brisket Girl to speak of)!

B'sides...I like those Sammies with a lots of point, and just a little flat chopped in, piled on a soft Onion Bun!

So...Here's a nice trimmed point end, ready for the Small earlier today:

Here we are...1/2 hour in: (with a good Texas Shiner Hefenweizen taking care of the moisture duties)

I agree with you 100%. Keep the flat and give me the point! Best BBQ to be had, but maybe that's just the Kansas City in me.

My daughter has asked me for brisket next Saturday and I think I'll get a packer and grind up most of the flat for ground beef.

I love hefe. Never had a Shiner how does it stack up. I've been dissapointed with all domestic hefe's.

I think most would say Shiner makes a very good offering of craft beers!

Their Bock is exceptionally well reguarded here to be sure!!

They have a great "Festival" each year too!!
