Interesting Day At The Chicken Ranch

It was one of those 'stay in your pj's' sorta day but we managed to eat well and add some color to the Coop.

Spring Hen made some 'clean out the frig' gumbo for lunch. It was delicious. No photos though.

Then we cooked a pork loin using some apple butter and other stuff in the center. Not bad.

Then we tried to find a place for a new addition to the Chicken Ranch. Richy Flamingo was shipped here by none other than Richard Florida. Apparently Richard thought the Ranch needed a bit more color.

Richy wanted an 'inside day job' but given his outfit we decided on an 'outside' position.

Thanks Richard. If he works out we'll consider keeping him. If he tries any funny stuff we'll definitely keep him.
