Smoked my first fattie last night after the wings. Used Tennessee Pride Hot Sausage, some Coach's Low Country Seasoning & some Hickory Chips. Came out nice and smoky. Rolled out some angel biscuits last night & egged them this morning. Used our new silicone rolling mat and it was great! Made a little gravy w/ some of the fattie and breakfast was ready.

Forgot to give your site props for the help on the fattie! Hey the gravy has skim milk in it, that counts. -
Thanks Larry, it was great.

That looks delicious! That is my all time favorite breakfast. I never thought of making the sausage gravy with a fattie. I can't imagine how good that would be.

same here
..it's bananas and breakfast bars during the week
..but we splurge a lil on the weekend breakfast, especially on Saturday morning

got some left...
got it at bed, bath, beyond, for $30 but we used the 20% coupon we get on a weekly basis. it's nice and won't move around on the counter. back to garage, had to get bandaged up from a wound i received out there  -
Thanks Anne, It's was mighty good and spicy.

Thanks Brian
We use one that we've been happy w/ for a good while. It came from "A Taste of Heaven" cookbook made by the Sevier Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. Mrs. FoodPolice got it there several years ago when we made an attempt to move (she did, I didn't). Needless to say we tried but decided to stay here. Sorry for the story.
It is by Robin Norris and is actually w/a Buttermilk Fried Chicken w/gravy recipe.
Gravy:
3 T all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1.5-2 cup water
Salt/Pepper to taste
1/4 cup oil,grease,whatever you got
Drain all but 1/4 cup drippings; stir in flour until bubbly. Add milk & 1.5 cups water; cook/stir until thickened & bubbly. Cook 1 minute more. Add remaining water if needed.
We usually make it w/ just oil but this time I used some oil and maybe .5 cup of the fattie. -
Thanks. I'll save that to try later once I lose a few more of those pesky holiday pounds
