Scones & cheese straws

I started the day by baking scones. This was my first try at these. Ginny and I liked them but will stick with blueberry bicuits. I will try chocolate scones next time. The recipe is from King Arthur flour.

I cooked them at 425 with the platesetter feet down, spacers then the pizza stone and the scones were on my pizza pan with parchment paper.

Also, my wife Ginny makes Cheese Straws and I always wanted to bake them on the BGE. (google cheese straws for the recipe). So while the fire was hot I made these. Next time I will use a little cherry or apple wood but they turned out great.
