What is Ro*tel?

This was mentioned in a recipe that I got earlier this week for White Chili. Can't seem to find it, and don't really have any idea what it is, so I son't really know if I will miss it or not.

In most supermarkets it will be found in two places, with the canned tomatoes and with the Mexican specialty section. It is a diced tomato and peppers blend. If you've had queso dip, you've probably had Ro-Tel. Most queso dip is Ro-Tel blended with Velveeta.

What is Rotel? I asked that too until I met my wife, now we buy it whenever we can because some places stopped carrying it. Its awesome in dips and things, as stated before.

The boss makes a rotel/velvetta dip with spicy breakfast sausage in it, it rules

P.S. Rotel is a brand name, just look for diced tomatoes with peppers or chilies

Been buzy this am making some Snowman's White Chili, which does include Ro*Tel. Love the stuff.

At our house, it's not called Ro*tel.......it's called "nectar of the gods".
