Made this wonderful meal tonight. Found these cards at Publix w/ different recipes and thought it looked good; part of their Apron's Simple Meals program. A little salad & (used Publix 5 grain dough) egged bread went with it great.
1 tablespoon garlic butter
10 oz frozen seasoning blend (onions, bell pepper, celery)
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1.5 lbs ground meatloaf blend (beef/pork)
1/2 cup red wine
24 oz marinara sauce
1.5 teaspoons italian seasoning
.5 teaspoon salt
.25 teaspoon pepper
.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
19 oz package frozen chees filled tortellini
Saute butter, veggies & seasonings
Add meat till brown
Add liquids; reduce heat to low
Boil tortellini's
Using some of my Christmas from the Ceramic Store.

Used the two outside new Lodge Mini Pans for the first time.

Desert...Do you have a Bass Pro Shop in the area? They have an incredibe selection of Lodge cast iron. To include dutch ovens, camp fire ovens, and lots and lots of mini stuff....corn bread molds, etc. Or, check online if you don't have one in the area.
In fact, here is a link:
http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchResults?searchOption=products&hvarSearchString=lodge&storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&CMID=TOP_SEARCH_GO
This should bring you right to their Lodge products.
Good luck, and be good! :woohoo: (NOT!) :woohoo: -

Got these little pans at the outlet store in Commerce, GA this summer. We are addicted to cast iron as we have approximately 40+ pans that we use to cook with daily with the exception of 4 calphalon we use. Great little pans. -
Hey LC
These handle the heat better than that stuff someone use's.
Hope I don't melt these! -
Thanks! It was probably one of the best "pot" meals we've cooked and w/ minimal effort & ingredients. The sauce was the best we've ever made, don't know if it was the wine or sauce we added. It made a good bit of sauce so got a little in the freezer now for another quick meal later.
