The snow would help if the cooking was being done outside.

It happens fast, and for most people it might never happen. One thing for sure, is when it does happen you won't be expecting it.

No need for being paranoid, but perhaps a good idea for folks to think a bit about the possibilities.

Happy holidays in your new home bro!

    Anne,
I hate to sound like a smartass  , but, it's 40'! Come on now, grab an axe and a shovel and get to it! It ain't no fun and it'll take a day (or a weekend and a whole lot of beer :woohoo: ) of sweat equity, but aren't your poor lonesome eggs worth it :( ?

Of course you could take the easy way out and dig out a 5' section out in front of your garage, but where is the fun in that?

Seriously, I'm just poking a little fun :) ...'course I would dig'em out

get a nest and roll it in and out...My backyard patio etc isn't finished so that's what I've been doing...cooking in the driveway
  • I would think you would be alright, if you had some sort of ventilation. You would need to set up a fan to give the garage 'x' amount of air changes per hour. Where you get into trouble is when there air not moving, 'bad' air being replaced by 'good' air, like being in a confined space.
  • I cannot believe I am listening to adults who are masters of the egg talk about grilling inside. Its crazy and dangerous. Put a coat on and stand outside like a true 'merican. Are we going to talk about firing up the chimenea in the garage too? "Oh its fine near the gas and oil, I put down an old towel to stop the sparks"

    grilling inside? crazy talk
