Soy Soaked FlanK Steak

This is the second time I've cooked this and its a keeper. Soak the flank steak in soy sauce while the egg is heating up. Add Pepper and Garlic Powder and grill around 450 dome. Put the meat on and drizzle with half of the soy. 3-4 minutes flip pour on the rest of the soy and cook to 130-135. I don't know if pouring the soy on while it is grilling makes a difference but it sure smells good. No eggshots as it getting cold. But the soy does make a nice color to the outside of the meat. A little BBQ sauce to top. Nuked asparagus and Uncle Bens with some fresh cranberries and Tomato salad

Looks great!
Just regular soy sauce? (Not Soy Vey Teriaki sauce?) -
Looks great, thanks for the tip! Flank steak is one of my favorite grilled meals. I don't understand nuking the asparagus if you already had your Egg running, but each to his own.
If you were adding that much soy sauce to the meat, you were probably increasing the umami (meatiness taste) as well as adding salt.
Your recipe reminds me of a trick I use when preparing pot roast in the pressure cooker. To make a pressure cooker pot roast have a nice brown color, I pour some soy sauce on a plate, then lay the chuck on the soy sauce and flip over, so that both sides are well stained. It doesn't affect the taste, but the appearance is greatly improved. -
Zippy:
I have done asparagus on the grill and they are very good. Last night as usual my wife was fixing the sides.
