When I copy a recipe from the forum to my Living Cookbook, I take the www.egghead***** URL or whatever it is called and place in my recipe and have a way to get back to the original post. Would it be possible to have a spot for this in your recipe database withought too much trouble? That way the original thread and pics with various comments are readily available.

I suppose the person adding the recipe could, for now, use the notes section of the recipe to enter the url of the original post.

The big thing here is NO ONE (admins included) should be allowed to post anything in MY name.
That is not proper netiquette. -
I was attempting to give the originating source credit for a recipe. I understand what you are saying, but my quandry is... isn't the fundamental intent of even posting something to share... especially a recipe?
You could search to find it in the archives... but for a recipe that can be a pain.
I guess I'm just on the wrong wavelength. -
Point is you posted Rick's name as the Author and not the Source.
By doing that you posted something AS Rick. In this case it turned out he was not the original source of one of those recipes.
You should have just asked him if it would be alright to publish a recipe he posted. All of this would have been avoided. -
You're right... I didn't think... I should have asked.
I actually entered them trying to get a feel for the recipe functionality to see how we (the coders) could improve and integrate it better... Rick's were the one's I grabbed. And I did give both author AND source credit.
I didn't know it would cause such a ruckus either.
