Hello!
Well, I've been lurking around the forum for quite a while and thought I might try a post.
I've been amazed at all of the great information available on this forum, its so good I regret all the money I've spent buying books on BBQ.
I've had my large now for about 6 months and have been enjoying it immensely. I'm always on the outlook for something new to try on the egg. I've been searching the forum for some kind of "Master List" of things people have cooked on their eggs, but I can't find one, so I thought I would start this one.
I'm only going to list things that turned out good, lets not talk about that time the temp got away from me and the ribs were ruined...
--Stuff I've made--
=Pork=
Butt
Spare Ribs
Baby Back Ribs
Country Style Ribs
Pork Chops
Loin - Jamaican Jerk and Regular Rubbed
=Beef=
Brisket
Burnt Ends
Beef Short Ribs
Tri-Tip (So happy I tried this, damn it's good)
Hamburgers/Hot Dogs (Got to take a break sometimes)'
T-Bone/Porterhouse
Ribeye (The classic)
=Poultry=
Beer Can Chicken
Spatchcock Chicken
Turkey Breast
=Other=
ABT's - Atomic Buffalo Turds
--Stuff I'd Like to Make--
=Pork=
Ham
Ham Steak
Bacon
Sausage (Need to get a grinder first)
=Beef=
Prime Rib Roast (Thank God Christmas is Coming!)
Big Beef Ribs (Dinosaur Bones)
Pastrami (I like a good Ruben)
Chuck Roast (Is this a crazy idea?)
Baloney (Not sure its worth the time)
=Poultry=
Whole Turkey
Mess of Wings
=Other=
Salmon
Lamb Chops
Leg O Lamb
=Non Meat=
Pizza (Need egg Inferno, oven's too cold)
Breads
Corn on the Cob
Please post more ideas/suggestions! I'm mostly looking for different main items, not just different recipes for say rub on a butt.
Thanks!

Look through the cookbook on this site for hundreds of additional ideas. Pretty much anything you can cook on a stovetop or in an oven does just as well if not better in an egg.

i was thinking we ought to have a list of cooks, but also have the method and ingredients included as additional information beneath each entry. wait. that's a cookbook!
get thee to the cookbook section. not only is it a master list of things cooked on the egg, it includes variations .ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante -

if you ever talk to your lover, sundown, let him know i thought he was coming by wakefield today to pick up his bomba. instead maybe you two are snuggling by the fire after the ice storm?ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante

Why would you want #4s - I have a box of Monte #2 habanos that were rolled in 02/2000.
Had I know you liked to indulge I would have sent a couple of those. -
i have a soft spot for the #4s. met a guy and his wife on their honeymoon while we were on ours. he's an importer/export (lives in sao paulo).
we smoked them on the honeymoon, and met another time in NYC, and he had boxes of cubans in his hotel room. they were a fun couple. champagne and caviar and cubans in central park with the wives. he'd come into the country with about six or eight boxes of them somehow, and distribute them to clients as he traipsed about the country making his rounds.ed egli avea del cul fatto trombetta -Dante
