Did my holiday batch of Baklava on the egg today. Needs to sit overnight covered in Orange Blossom Honey but I did sneak a piece. It was perfect.

Looks great from what I can see(last pic needs some work  ). I can never find good baklava, unless I go home to Tarpon Springs. Are you sharing your recipe? I can never find filo dough.

Hey Big'Un. What supermarkets do you have available to you where you live? Do you have Publix? I had the same problem! But I was looking in the wrong section of the market. Typically, frozen foods with the desserts. But sometimes phyllo is in the frozen section with the breads. All depends on your market, but I suggest looking in the same general area as the frozen fruits and cool whip stuff. (You should also find frozen puff pastry there, too.....mmmmm.....any ideas?) ;):) :woohoo:
    Good luck!

Thanks. I'll try looking again, but I have looked in both spots at our publix, and others with no joy. I need to visit some market that aren't in the sticks. I'm guessing ya'll can't buy whole hog heads like I can.Haha. I will start looking in both spots at all the stores. Thanks Chef.

These take up a teeny little spot on the shelf! I had to ask, then felt like a jerk when they showed me where they were. (exactly where I expected, but needed a microscope!) Ask. They're there. :)

I find mine in Da Walmart of all places. It's usually hiding with the dessert shells and such.

I think that is about my ultimate treat! last month the owner of a small local motel, only 20 rooms, showed up with a sheet pan full of it warm from the oven. we refer a ton of customers to her when we have events and the girls need a place to stay the night. so 5-6 times a year we fill her for two to three days. she brought it to us as a thank you. It was heavenly.... i am drooling bad right now!
