Gravy Bag

Mad Max doesn't mention what to do with the Gravy bag that comes with the turkey. Will it make something better? Put in in the stock? Put in the pan? Hold off and add it to the gravy at ? step?

Anyone, bueller, bueller.....

    Sam, not sure what the gravy bag is, but if you are making stock, I would use everything but the liver. -RP

    Also, if I don't want to use wine in the roasting pan, what should I substitue with?

    Well the obvious smartass answer is: Make Gravy!!!

    Seriously just follow the directions on the bag or if you are making the Mad Max Gravy just add it to that.

    As for the wine. You can use Chicken Stock.
