Looks like Desert Filly's rum cake. Can you just substitute the kahlua for the rum?? Looks good and gives me one more thing to send to Bubba  It really looks good Frank

Looks great Frank. Didn't even tare the crust comming out of the pan!! Confectionary sugar icing on it?
  • It's a cake recipe I found on the net. I just use a yellow cake mix and:
    3/8 cup Kahlua
    1/8 cup Creme de Cacao
    1/2 cup evaporated milk
    3 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil (canola in my case)

BGE at 350 degrees. Spray Bundt pan with cooking spray (Pam)
Mix all ingredients for 3 or 4 minutes in a standing mixer until the mixture is extremely creamy and smooth and lightens in color.
Pour into pan and bake until sides of cake are pulling away from pan, about 40 to 45 minutes.Test cake for doneness with a cake tester.
The glaze was 3/4 cup of powdered sugar mixed with enough Kahlua and water (even parts) to make a thin glaze. Poke holes in cake to allow penetration of the glaze.
My set-up on the BGE was: Platesetter legs down,3 ceramic feet, and the Bundt pan.
