Turkey Thawing Question

I need some of that famous egghead advice. Knowing I will be hosting Christmas for my wife's family for the first time I decided it was time for a no pressure run at the world famous MM turkey extravaganza!
I purchased a frozen bird of 14.6 lbs on Sunday night and put it in the 'fridge to thaw. I think I made a bad assumption that it would take until maybe Friday to thaw for my test run on Sunday. However, using the finger poking method it sure feels like it has thawed out. If so, will it be okay in the 'fridge until Sunday or do I need to make plans to cook it earlier?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce
