4:28 AM FORUM CHECK

Since Spring Chicken doesn't appear to be lurking tonight, I thought I'd weigh in. Actually the 4:28 am check in time is my home time zone, not where I am currently hanging out. It is 6:28 pm Tuesday evening in Seoul Korea, and I've had two long days of business meetings. I'm headed back to the states tomorrow, and I'll continue to mess with my internal time clock.
I asked my distributor to take me to a Korean BBQ restaurant last night. It was fabulous, and I'm trying to figure out how to mimic the flavors of the beef cooked at our table - think I'll try one of the Korean owned international markets in Atlanta when I get home.

Damn, you're a long way from home. Hope you're having a fun time when not in meetings. It's 2:40 a.m. here in a
AZ. I'm about ready to call it a night. Hope you have a fune time and a safe trip home.
Cheers,

Watch out for the Sojo. It will hurt you. Bulgogi, Galbi, and Taegegogi are the best. I have been making all of these dishes for 30 plus years. When you get back send me an email. You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP

bubba tim,
This is my fifth business trip to Korea, but my first in about ten years. I love the bulgogi and many of the noodle soups (hot and cold) that I've eaten here. I can eat kimchee, but it's not something I crave. If you have a solid bulgogi marinade recipe to share, I plan on making it for the family when I return this coming weekend.
As with most of my Asian trips, I'm ashamed to admit that after many days of very healthy eating, I usually crave a greasy cheeseburger when I get home.
