I use Skype all the time with my brother in Thailand. We like it better then MSN. -

My daughter spent the spring 2008 semester "studying" in London. After one eye-popping cell phone bill, we started using MSN Messenger with a webcam. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than cell quality, plus we got live video...and it was free.

Please give the details. Is it something to register to do. I am not familiar with skype. How did you get to the chat?

Skype has all that and crystal clear quality. Give it a try.

First you have to have Skype installed. It's free, but yes you need to register with Skype.
Then on my main web page Celtic Spirit BBQ there is a link join in the conference. -
We were going to try that, but her dorm banned the use of Skype early on. Too many were using it, and it was causing bandwidth problems. So MSN is was...I suppose it uses less.
Long distance has become the toaster the bank used to give you for starting a savings account...every phone I have now doesn't charge extra for it. -
It doesn't and it has always been less secure. Nice thing about Skype is it conference ability. Lot more then 3-Way calling.
