Bordello

Here's a few shots of Egrets chili. I did up it a notch with buckboard bacon, chipotle Tabasco sauce, cayenne pepper & pure maple syrup.
This is tasting real good. Thank you Egret.

Looks like you hit it perfect. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Thanks GG,
Yep, I'm letting it simmer as I want it a little thicker. But is tasting great, I may take some down to the pub and let them try it tomorrow.
Hope ya had a great day.

That looks great! Hmmmmm, maple syrup! I'm due for another batch real soon so I gotta try a little of dat. I made a batch of chili using the CinChili the other day and wasn't real impressed with it. I had to jack it up with a bunch of CowLick......now it's right! :woohoo: That CowLick is your 'Ace in the hole' for lighting up a chili recipe.....

Thanks Egret,
Now I had the pure maple syrup from Costco, about $16 a jug, go easy at first as it will sweeten it up. I just free poured from the jug so not sure how much I used.
I like sweet so I'm fine, besides when I add the shredded extra sharp cheese on top and saltine crackers they will cut it down.
My Thanks,

Doing some stake and trimmings tonight in the Shack but sort of wish I had some stew or chilie now!
About 50 degrees and drizzling. Miss summer all ready! :pinch: -
Looks like were both going to be eating good. Good job.

Heck, it's still about 70 here in the afternoon and most of us are wearing long sleeves of light coats. The snowbirds are running around in shorts and short sleeves. :silly:

Nothing like chili or stew in the cold weather.
