How I drained my ground meat

In making Egrets chili, it calls for draining the meat after browni on paper towel to get the liquid out.
I didn't have a colander so even though the meat was pretty warm I poured it into my salad spinner, then let it set a few seconds, pull the basket out, pour out the liquid, rinse then put the basket back in and spin the heck out of the meat. Worked really well. :cheer:

.
Interesting way to drain the meat. I've always used a steel mesh colander.
Is it wrong that I was maybe just a little bit slightly hoping that this was a sordid story about your bartender and her friend.

I would have used one also but don't have one. So that was my was of working around it. :silly:
