Potatoe Chips!!!!

Has anyone ever made potatoe chips? I haven"t seen any post on that ever that i can think of.Pictures would be nice if u have any, and at what temp. and how long. Thanks 4 your responses....

I make vegetable chips frequently, but only by deep-frying. My favorites are sweet potato chips and beet chips. Yukon Golds do OK but they remind me too much of storebought chips. I like to top 'em with a BBQ rub or seasoned salt. Any high-starch vegetable works fine. I use a mandoline to rapidly get thin uniform slices.
Deep-frying on the Egg probably isn't safe, given the high charcoal temp and open flame. You'd also have to be really good with temp control, as a 25º difference in deep-frying is a big deal.
Oven-roasted fries would likely work well on the Egg. -
