What a weekend

We just rolled back in from Talladega. The Greater Alabama Council hosted a scout encampment at the track. They were expecting 30,000 people and there were a ton of folks there. We saw a bus from as far away as Pensacola. We took the small egg and did hmaburgers, pulled pork and pizza.
The best part was spending the weekend watching our 8 year old have a blast. Btw it was so cold, the dew froze to the tent both nights. Too much fun!

The boys were also able to get on the live weather forecast on the NBC affiliate from Birmingham.
At the end some of our folks opted out of the coleman stoves and just started throwing stuff on the egg. The biscuits Sat AM were are big hit. They didn't expect them to be soo good on "that BBQ egg thing of yours"
