Egret's chili/Rotel?
Bordello
Posts: 5,926
The recipe I found for Egret's chili calls for a can of Rotel. Seem they make more then one, Original, hot and I'm not sure what else. Does it make a difference as to which one should be used???
Thanks,
Bordello

Bordello,
Be careful if you like spicey chili then go with the hot if not then orginal or mild would be a better choice especially if your feeding others that can't handle heat a word of caution the hot is rather spicey -
Thanks, I like spicey but am hoping to give some away. I appreciate the "heads up" on it.
I don't have a printer so am copying Egret's chili recipe by hand. Sure seems long when doing this way. :(

You smart, me stupid, no work.

Just got done with it. Glad that's over. :woohoo:
Thanks again,
Bordello -
I used the original Rotel, turned out great. I did cut down on the cinnamon on the second batch, however, the last bottle of cinnamon I got was very strong - probably my old stuff was old.
