Half moon skillet - with pictures

I have included pictures--
I have two of the half moon skillets from BGE for our large egg. I have been experimenting with them. I cooked some awesome fajitas a few weeks ago. I cooked the peppers & onions on one side and the meat on the other. I also cooked an EGG breakfast. I loved the flavor of the bacon on the EGG. I would like to try blackened fish soon. Any other ideas?

Wow, I didn't even know this existed! I'll have to add it to the list after my adjustable rig and the third hand (and three finger)grate lifter.
Thanks for the great pictures!

this just reminded me that i have one of these and haven't opened the box yet.
i wonder where in the hell i put it...... -
are you cooking indirect in that first pic? the skillet looks likes it's level with the gasket, meaning the PS is underneath, compared to the second pic where the skillet is lower in the EGG.
seems like a lot of people are doing scallops (plus bacon)with other skillets, but you are the first to post pics using the griddle/skillet:

I JUST POSTED A GRIDDLED CHICKEN ON THAT SAME ACCESSORY, I'VE OWNED IT FOR TWO MONTHS AND NEVER USED IT UNTIL LAST NIGHT.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

In the breakfast picture I used the WOO2; direct heat so the skillets were at gasket level.
For fajitas I removed the Woo2 so the skillets would be closer to the fire. I wanted the fajitas to sizzle.

I was going to start a thread earlier today on where to find the half moon skillet. So I ask, where can I get one?LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Ask for Jonathan...he's new and will get a kick out of it. -
Thanks...when I went straight to their web page I couldn't find it. My wife goes to Google, types 35 words and hits first time; but not on the BGE web page. At least to one of the Santa’s this year it’s on the list. I’m getting into cast iron and this has great possibilities.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
