I live in Atlanta now... I grew up in Youngstown, but my kumas are all Northsiders (Troy Hill) and worked for Heinz and PA Bell back in the day... My family has had season tickets for many moons! I grew up in the 70's wanting to marry Terry Bradshaw and I was even nicknamed, "JoJo"... alas, all I had was my "terrible towel" to cry in! I get back to the 'burgh several times a year to visit the relatives... and of course, our yearly pilgimage to Kennywood Park on Croatian Day!
  • Lynn, You've still got black and gold runnin through you...let's go Steelers!!!!!

Haven't missed a game since 94 when I subscribed to the "Ticket"!

Have BB Ribs ready for tonight's victory party!

Currently live just outside of Dallas TX. Was planning a trip to the Burg to watch our STEELERS whip up on those Cowboys on Dec 7, 2208.

Love your Jersey Bente (Have the road version of it)

I actively support two NFL Teams.
    #1 Our Steelers of course
#2 Whoever plays the JJ Cowboys

Will be waving our Terrible Towels tonight!

    Here We Go Seelers!
  • Awesome to hear....I'll have a couple Iron City's on your behave...Let's Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!

yea i wear the road version for game day and wear the other "out" the reason is i have an extra home one in the plastic under the bed so in case of emergency.. i have kendra bell's home version also.. i was wanting one of the newer ones but have yet to order more. i bought all 3 "7" jersey's his first year i figured we finally had a good quarterback so i stocked up... didn't know he was going to be this good but was really happy to get over the "others"... malone, woodley, stewert, maddux, o'donnell.. man we have had some bad ones

max she has just reached her "target" weight. she has really worked hard on it and i am so very proud of her. as you can tell i have no self control. but she has it by the bucket loads.. but she has been really excited after you reach your target weight you become a lifetime member with no money to pay anymore. she just has to go in every couple months and get weighed in...

like you said if i live to a hundred i will not figure it out either. but i figure no use "shouting at the rain" just be thankful :)

  • well, you just tell her congrats from me and she looks gorgeous!!!!. ...and i hear you on the self discipline. .. .i'm losing weight but only cause the doctor makes me take pills that make me lose my appetite ... .but i'm about to break the 200 pound threshold (actually i might have already done it, but won't know its official till i hit my doctor's scale next week), and when i do, i'm having a "199 party" to celebrate!! .. it will be the first time i've been at that weight since i used to move furniture when i was in college over 30 years ago!! . .
  • You can say that again....lets hope we have another Terry Bradshaw in the making.
  • :woohoo: Good one...I'm havin me a primanti's at halftime!!!

You are so right Bente, I knew we had our Quarterback when I heard him speak right after the selection. One more, Bobby Lane (50's), but most don't remember him.

Steeler Nation travels as well as any club in the NFL. Attend all Steeler games in Texas and as "Mark Cuban" would say The Steelers travel Loud and Proud!

Texas Stadiums are nick named Heinz Field South when the Steelers play (25%-35% Steeler Fans).

Had cold chill go through me when I read the name Malone (The Marboro man), does that bring back nightmares.

    Here We Go Steelers!

what brings back nightmares is when he would grow a bread and have his top teeth showing in some kind of grimmace/ smile.. i always wondered what he got paid for that one superbowl pass
