When making cobbler in a DO, do you put lid on or leave off? I'm making dinner for friends tonight after the Redskins game; Blackened catfish, roasted red potatoes, grilled romaine, dinner rolls. Want to have something for desert. Thanks everyone.

Hi I do lid off. and when I put in the biscuit topping I keep it away from the edges. this lets it bubble up and cook with out burning.

Thank you!

I have only cooked one but it was with the lid off and it turned out great.

One could also have the lid off for just a portion of the cook if not all guests enjoy the smoke influence like we do.
