When you close all of the windows from getting cold fingers it only means one thing comfort food.
Brown and stuff garlic slivers into the chuck roast.

Quarter up about a pound of each.Red taters, white taters, carrots, sweet onion.

A few grinds of pepper, fresh rosemary, kosher salt, pinch of thyme, pinch of sugar on top.

Into the Egg at 300 indirect for about four hours.Mom will be surprised when she comes back from her weekend venture down the ocean this weekend.

Do you use liquid?
Ross -
It's going to be 82* here today, and I have the same dinner going now on my medium BGE.
It should be ready in about 2 1/2 hours. -
Sure you don't want a burnt roast do you?One cup of good Spanish red wine.
[IMG]http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x155/77mallard/007-1.jpg -
Thanks for the post.

Sure did. One cup of red wine from Spain and enough chicken stock to bring the liquid a little past the half way mark on the roast.

A couple more hours and it should be done.I will give the internal temp of the meat when done and I think it should be around 200 degrees. You can not over cook a pot roast. -
I have had a few beers today but I only took one shot of the wine bottle sitting on top of the bamboo cutting board.Looks like it is time to go camera shopping.

Well that's it!!!
You've encouraged me to put this on the menu for later this week. It is going to be pretty cold in Ohio this week. Pot roast is always good on a colder day.
Hope yours turns out good tonight. -
You must be pulling my chain. That temperature means summer time food.Wings, ribs and blue cheese and cole slaw on the side.
