OT: Debbie Meyer Green Bags

greetings!

i was wondering..... do any of you use debbie meyer green bags? do they work? how long do they last?

  • My mom uses them all the time and says they are great. I think she buys them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. She put some salad greens in one and sent me home with it - I forgot about it and several days later the greens were mightyfine.
  • I saw a test of them on the local news show not long ago and the difference seemed to be legit. If memory serves me right, and that's a mighty big assumption, the key was keeping moisture out of the bag should the veggie/fruit sweat.

    We started using them about 2 months ago. They seem to work good, but as BigDaddy said the key is keeping the moisture down as much as possible. The box said they are good for about ten uses. We bought them at Wal Mart about 10 bucks for 20 bags
