    Tom,

I've had streaking issues with some of those injections. The flavor is okay and all, so shake them well and just try to be neat and even with your needle work syring1a.gif

Do slip the breast into a 2 gallon zipper bag first. Stick through the plastic and into the breast. This will save on wall splatter and dry cleaning.

thanks, by the way just got back from home depot. they have a new supplier for MAP gas. Guy says, just environmentally friendly gas. If you are looking for box/drywall blades, hd has a 200 pack special - $10. Can never have too many of the blades.....T

  • i thought the creole butter and other injection marinades that came with the package (got it as a white elephant xmas gift) were just gross. i just made my own using posts from the forum...

With the metal working I play with I started hoarding after a plumber mentioned MAPP was going away. I'm still loaded up with the original ozone bustin' MAPP, I do have a cylinder of the MAP-PRO just have not tried it yet.

  • Is MAPP gas not going to be available anymore? Haven't heard that before. If there is a replacement gas, will it burn as hot as MAPP but cost more?

It's pretty much off the shelf now. The replacement is called MAP-Pro. Can't be called MAPP as it is a propylene gas, and has no acetylene. But the name is similar and the bottle is still yellow. It is a less dense gas and is supposed to burn almost as hot.

I've heard some gripes about residue by hobby glass working folks.
