Cooking the eyes, do you think..........

I'm cooking two eye of the rounds today, I have my hanger in the xl with the flip ring placed so that the grill is even with the lip of the egg. Can I use the 18 inch drip pan for an indirect cook? If so should I add alittle liquid to it? Thanks

Well I'm going to pull the hanger and use my platesetter after looking at a responce from mad max.

i think you would have been fine to go either way but i would have probably used the platesetter as well.

Used the plate setter, sliced, more like shaved, Fantastic!!! I typically don't care for eye of the round, but these turned out really fantastic.
