First let me thank all of you for your incredible generosity in sharing some of your great egg experiences. My wife bought me an XL for my first father's day (the diamond earrings I bought her for mothers day kind of backed her into a corner
). Since then I have been a daily presence on the forum trying to soak up all your wisdom. I have learned a ton and have cranked out some great meals.
This list is not inclusive at all but I want to thank the following (I guarantee I am leaving people out):
AZRP - The Chicken? WOW!
SSN686 - Have made the sausage bread 4-5 times and the neighbors are asking me to make it for them.
Frank in Houma - Stuffed fritos and Pan Perdu. What more do you need to make it through a day?
Fishlessman - Crispy wings, just the way I like them.
FlaPoolman - Great soft pretzels. Making them again on Sunday so I can watch the Bengals go 0-3 with a few cold beers.
NakedWhiz - Great site. A must for all newbies like me.
WessB, Thirdeye, Qbabe - thanks for great site with great ideas.
Hard to write a list like this as there are so many who have provided ample education and no offense intended to those I have left out.
Since the initial XL we have added a Small egg (strangely enough at my Wife's urging) and love the flexibility 2 eggs give. If anyone has advice on how to add a large into the herd I am all ears .
I have taken a few photos and need to get a photobucket account to start sharing them. Anyway, you all are great and I hope to contribute more going forward. Thanks so much...

Well, now that you've posted you'll have to do it more frequently. We all want to know how to do genuine Cincinnati chili or those little hot dogs. And you should look up SaucySue there in Cin-town and start a 3Riversfest.

Welcome to the club Don :woohoo: I have found that when bringing home a new egg,it's best to just do it and then argue about it later
I'm getting pretty good at it  I brought home a mini today, and wifey got home and said,"oh you got another grill
"But it was on sale honey :cheer: "You have to many"Oh no,I still need just one more
Yea,she's still pissed at me,but whatareyagonnado?

Don,
Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission. Gets me by anyway. Welcome.

Welcome. I look forward to your pics.
Good to have you around. -
Thanks guys!
Doug 123, did the smokeshack come before the eggs or were all those eggs looking for an outstanding home? I'm thinking if I build a big smokeshack then the boss won't notice as more eggs are added.
Bente and Fidel, thanks for the warm welcome. I will be posting pics soon to pay forward all the great help I have received from you and others.
Wise One, if I have to take on Cincinnati Chili in my dutch oven as an experiment for the group I would be happy to do so. Although you cannot do better than Skyline Chili coneys (no onions) anywhere in the US...

XL for your first fathers day? That is nice. The kids will be spoiled with great eats as they grow. Welcome to the cult.

Welcome, Don, and congrats on all the great cooks you mentioned!

Wecome Don! I'm glad you "stepped through the mirror" and started posting. We are happy to have you here. As far as adding to the family, the demo's from the fests can be an economic help, if the timing is right. Ask any questions and get to posting those pics.Haha.

Good call, Doug. Always easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission.

Another Ohio Egger....... if only a dealer could see the light.
Welcome welcome welcome.
Lots of good stuff on those sites for sure.
Your Egg story sounds familiar. I got my first Egg and the wife got a chair and ottoman. I still have the Egg

dhuffjr,
Where are you in Ohio? It would be great to not only get together with fellow kool-aid drinkers but also find a dealer somewhere between Lexington and Dayton who is interested in hosting an eggfest. The dealer I bought my eggs from is no longer listed on the mothership site and when I was in there last week was trying to get rid of his last XL. I would love to find a dealer that actually carried a couple of accessories.

It's nice to see another Cincinnati egger on the forum. Which dealer did we lose? I bought my XL at Wardway Fuel and usually get my accessories/parts from Don Marcum Pools.
I do see we have a new dealer in West Chester which I have yet to visit. The fireplace specialist never have much in stock, I think they order them as they need them.
