Dinosaur BBQ Double Trouble

Few months back we had a house guest from Syracuse NY and someone had mentioned Dinosaur BBQ on the forum. I asked friend and was rewarded when she came back this week with an eggtastic house gift. Now got to figure out what the 5 different flavors are good on. Any suggestions? TIA

Funny, there's a rather famous BBQ joint in Manhattan called 'Dinosaur BBQ" and it appears that they have outposts upstate in Rochester & Syracuse. If it's of any help, here's the web site: http://www.dinosaurbarbque.com/nycIndex.php

They actually started in Syracuse - my wife is from there and introduced me to it. The other ones opened later. I actually ate at the Manhattan one for lunch yesterday - had their brisket sandwich - mine is better

I like their cajun rub and they have a pretty good cookbook out. I'm not overly into their sauces, though they aren't bad. We make their 'mutha sauce' from their cookbook occasionally, and it's pretty good.

I credit the Dinosaur BBQ with my BBQ awakening! I have been visiting all three for the last 15 years....mostly Syracuse about 1X a month. They have a great cookbook and I have made many of their recipes. Lots of their sauce is now sold in supermarkets in the NE. Enjoy
