For some reason this summer we're having crickets in our garage. There's no food or feed out there to draw them that I know, but I've always heard they can be damaging to materials. Any ideas on how to get rid of them besides the two foot stomp which is effective, but not thorough!

Funny you should mention that. When I went to the wash today, I was greeted by hundreds of them.

Get a couple of old towels/rags and moisten them and then stick them in a corner. In the morning the crickets will be all intertwined into the towels. Pick up the towels and take them out of the garage. Most of the crickets will be gone. HTH.
