Growing veggies in tight spaces. Google Topsy Turvy. I have twelve ready for next season and a pine tree limb picked out for the asst. that I will grow with these hanging thingies. I'am not endorsing any products, but some of us have limited to no growing space. So HANG EM HIGH. Home grown is sooooo good. Toms. , peppers , herbs , etc.. Do a VEGGIES GONE WILD thing. Grow... egg and enjoy. Miles out.

    Miles,

Looks like a lot of fun. I made a 'salsa pot', it is a deep 14" hanging planter with holes in the side for planting.

I put in 3 tomato plants, 3 Anaheim, 3 jalapeño’s, 1 of those small red & yellow little pepper plants, cilantro (died on me), 2 green bell, 2 red bell, 1 brown bell, basil. I then another planter 12” X 20” same design as above, 3 Anaheim, 3 serrano pepper, basil, cilantro, thyme, rosemary, chives, 1 green pea, a couple of petunia plants for color. Also, two large strawberry hanging plants.

Then two earth boxes, one with 3 tomato plants and one with fall sweet corn.

They are all doing good except for the darn celantro. The cilantro produced the coriander pods but no leaves. I have harvested a lot of Anaheim peppers a few jalapeno peppers, a lot of tomatoes, peas, the bell’s are doing well but not ready to pick yet.

I think next year I will do a tomato setup like RRP, it might be in the earthbox’s or individual pots or possibly both. It has been nice not to have to bend over and absolutely no weeding which is nice.

It will be interesting to see how many tomatoes you harvest with that many hanging plants – I would expect a lot.

    Kent
