    Pigtail,
Suggestion on testing pictures. [p]Put in the whole url address in your browser window 1st. If you then see it, and it isn't pulling it from your computers own cache which it will try to do, then others will be able to see it too if you post it. If you get a " File Name Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server." Then you can avoid posting it until that step works first. [p]Remember to include http:// b4 the www.tm52.com/bge/ etc.[p]Tim

Tim:[p]Considering the number of hits The BBQ Forum receives daily, and the amount of participation on the forum, many would say it is a serious site for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge about "Q". Go ahead and admit it, Tim . . . You know you slide over there when we are not looking!

djm5x9,[p]Add the many insults, pompousness, ego fanatics, and don't forget the "slack-jawed-yokals" and their comments and it does get a lot of hits. So do porn sites and they have more to offer. If you are into contesting - it might be a place to visit but NOT to get help using a ceramic cooker -- at least don't admit that there!!!!!!!!!!!!!![p]No - I don't visit that place. [p]Tim

Tim:[p]Who cares how they feel about ceramic cookers. "Q" is "Q" regardless of what you cook it on. It is all about technique. Those folks participating in contests and restaurateurs posting there have lived a lot of "Q". Naturally, they are not going to part with all of their knowledge at one time. Over a period of time a morsel here and a crumb there adds up . . . You just have to keep your eyes and ears open and read between the lines. Sometimes a simple e-mail requesting clarification yields a gold mine of information. There are some really good folks over there.[p]There is a history of "Q" in my family and the genes have gifted me with a good product. The BBQ Forum has just helped me make it better.
  • djm5x9,[p]Way to keep an open mind, Darryl!! Unlike Timmy... I do not cook on an egg, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to cook BBQ.. I cook on a pellet cooker, which in some eyes is in the same boat as ceramic. Yes, it's a joke over on the BBQ Forum, regarding ceramic cooking. But, I will admit, it makes it real easy to jump on the "band wagon" when someone like Joel, comes over there and starts a war with drbbq.. When he was never on the Forum in the past.. (Not trying to pick on ya Joel!! Keep up the enthusiasm!!) Yes, I learned how to cook BBQ from the BBQ Forum, and by becoming friends with some awesome cooks that hang out on the BBQ Forum. Ray Lampe is one of the most sharing cooks out there. He took me under his wing, and included me in his contest cooking! I would also like to point out, that there are a lot of cooks on the BBQ Forum that cook on ceramic cookers. I don't recall them being ridiculed... If the shoe fits though... Sorry Timmy, I didn't have a picture to add to this post. ;-)

    djm5x9,
B-S darryl.[p]This forum, like a few others, offers help to those ceramic users who visit. That bozzo forum, with the buffoon's who rant about ceramic users there (and here), offer no help at all - only criticism and you promote it. You are no friend here - just another yapping mouth that flaps in the wind.[p]You and Mop and scottie and fat bbq are birds of a feather. Some of us try to help - you idiots just rant. Have fun. Is your forun ignoring you again??[p]Tim

Tim:[p]I think you would be quite surprised at the number of ceramic users that visit and participate on The BBQ Forum. As for The Big Green Egg Forum, there are a folk or two participating here that are very closed minded, lacking in maturity, and egotistical. With specific regard to you, the ceramic forum you WM for is lacking in participation for these very reasons. You are the way you are and I would be shocked to see your demeanor change. Besides, it provides for some good humor on occasion.[p]If the Avalon Pier Cam is any indication, looks like you are going to have a nice day there.
