Papa Murphy's pizza on the BGE.mmmm

If you are crunched for time and energy on a work day, we like to do pizza from Papa Murphy's. They make them and you bake or grill them. We like the thin crust and you can use their special tray right on the place setter and with the pizza stone. We slid the pizza off the special tray half way through cooking for nice crispy crust. They are very good. No I don't have stock in Papa Murphy's!

For kicks and giggles if you have a Nick-n-Willy's in your area try one of their take and bake pizzas. We find them far better than Papa Murphy's. The secret is in the cheeses and meats IMHO.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

If time is short I do the Papa Murphys. I get the 14" pepperoni and put pinches of raw Italian sausage and just enough cheese to hold the sausage in place. I was removing the tray part way through the cook, but now I put the tray on the extended grid above the plate setter. -RP

How long and at what temp do you guys cook them at?

I have seen and we have here in Huntsvill, Al Papa Johns but never a Papa Murphy. Is this a local pizza place?

Papa Murphy's is a take and bake pizza chain. I'm not sure what states they are in. if you go to their website, they have a store locator.

We do them about 475-550 for about 20 minutes give or take a few minutes.

No Nick and Willie's in Oshkosh, WI. What area do you have Nick and Willie's? We have a local take and bake called Eaton's and they are good, but haven't tried them on the egg, yet.

NOOOOOOO! Papa Murphy's closed all locations here in Georgia. I loved that pizza!

I did two of the family-sized from Papa Murphy's just yesterday on my XL BGE. My backyard thermometer showed 107* and I just wanted something I could do quickly. Plenty of left-overs for today's lunch.
