Depends how big they are.
I usually cook mine around 400* direct on a raised grid. Takes only a few minutes per side. I check internal temps on the big ones - pull them around 135-140. -
Thanks - I haven't tried scallops on the Egg yet, but I've been thinking about it and watching forum discussions. The posts talking of 40 minute cooks make me cringe.

A 40 minute scallop? That'd make a nice hocky puck. I threw in some scallops while making AZRP's Spicy Shrimp in my grill-wok. Turned out very tasty.

I do mine direct at 400 wrapped in proscuitto and skewered. They take about 10 minutes if they are fairly large. Good luck, tom
