I spent the day with my son while wifey went shopping with her mother :woohoo: We did some running around, but we both had a great time.We had IHOP for lunch, that boy can eat some pancakes
Then we went four wheeling for a couple hours(he really loves that)
Then a little cool down in the creek :woohoo: It just doesn't get any better :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey Ron,you're more than welcome to bring your daughter up one weekend and ride along :woohoo: It is alot of fun
-
Where is the fishin poles.
It is nice to spend time like that with the kids. Nice gentle 4 wheelin.
GG -
Very true GG.I think that we will take our fishin poles next time
We do love to fish :woohoo: -
That brings back a lot of memories....I'm jealous.
I spent the day digging drainage ditches and power washing the back patio in 98* heat.... -
Seeing the jeep in the water sure looks nice.
We used to go to elephant hill to do some white nuckle 4-wheelin.
Devil's kitchen is amazing (the bottom of the back side of elephant hill). It can be 115° and moving 55' into devils kitchen the temp drops to 70°.
The petroglifs, red rock country and other sites in that part of the state are amazing.
Here is a link to some 4 wheelin sites. We have gone to, and up and over all of these places. If you like 4-wheelin take a look at the link.

Fidel,
I am going to Indiana next week. I'll get some Bomba to you through the usual channels. Your going to have to share some this time. Doug and Todd are expecting it.

I just had some on pizza tonight, and on italian chicken sammies last night.
Wowza!
I have a jar here for Doug, but he never takes me four-wheelin' -
Hey Fidel,wanna go wheeling?

-
No Steve,he's not driving it yet,but he gets really eggscited when I let him sit up front
Just don't tell anyone
He's not supposed to be up front with the airbag, but we play at low speeds, and he loves it :woohoo: It's still probably safer than the 4 wheeler
-
Fidel,
You need to learn to make an Italian veal sangwich. White veal scallopine, some provolone, hot italian peppers with marinara and a good slathering of Bomba.

Stop it Steve, you're killin me :woohoo: That does sound really good
-
Last night was pretty good. Italian dressing marinated chicken breast, provolone, pepper bacon, fresh roma tomatoes, fresh basil, and bomba on a toasted kaiser roll.
The wife won't do veal or lamb.....go figure. -
Doug,
The veal sandwich seems to be unique to Toronto. We had huge Italian immigration in the fifties and sixties. I don't know if it's still true but we had the largest Italian born population of any city outside Italy. There are italian bakeries on every second corner here and the veal rules. White veal leg scallopine, dredge in seasoned flour, wash in egg, garlic and milk, fry in olive oil
and then simmer in marinara. Simmer the peppers in olive oil til they are tender and top with provolone or parmesan. Put a little of the marinara on the panini and some bomba and there you go.

I really want to try that.It sounds great.I am half Italian,so I think I deserve it
I look forward to trying it
But wait,something is missing,oh yea,the bomba
