Kroger 10lb box rib Tips

Kroger here in Indy has a 10 lb box of frozen uncooked Rib Tips for $10.00.
Any one try these and are they any good?
I bought a box but they are frozen together in a solid mass not IQF by any means so it is hard to tell what it is. The one thing I hate about flesh peddlers there is too many names for a basic primal cut. Really don't want to wait until I need them to find out. Oh well I have spent $10.00 and gotten less before.

I've bought them before and to me, they seemed to be not much more than scraps that they thought they could sell. I'm thinkin' you haven't got much more than something you cook sauce onto, so that you can nibble it back off. Hopefully, your experience will be better.

I bought some years ago. Scraps. It's like the invention of donunt hole (not as good). Why throw it in the garbage when you can throw it in a box and sell it.

Hey Al,
please email me your phone number. Thanks.

I would guess you are correct. I will still thaw and smoke might help a pot of beans get some flavor.
Smoked turkey necks sure season well.

Yeah, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If you spend fifty cents more a pound you can get butts or picnics and have them sliced; at least there will be some meat on there.
