Argghh First Flashback Knuckle Burn

And this happened while celebrating the first anniversary of my first cook on the egg. That will teach me a lesson to always wear gloves even when you think it's safe. My 3 knuckles of my right hand that held the handle is just a little red, no blisters. What do you all do for first aid treatment?

Well if your like me it won't be the last
Seems like this year I have greatly cut down on the incidents however. -
Alo & liquid Vitamin E.

I feel your pain...I had my first flashback a couple weeks ago. But, oddly, I experienced it as a "first kiss" from my Egg, exciting, and memorable. I did have a glove on one hand, but the Egg "kissed" my bare arm.

I'm thinking, being somewhat forgetful, that a stencil of BEWARE, BURP LID< FLASHBACK! might be nice in white on the lid.

Wait till you burn the hair off your chest and belly!! OR, lose the better part of an eyebrow.
Burned knuckles? I'm so used to that I don't even think about it any more. -
For first aid, apply liberal amounts of alchohol - internally. Some nice single malt scotch would be a good bet. You'll forget all about the burn. :P
