  • Not sure, I ordered one off ebay today. I think the total was 28.98. I am going to a family reunion in a few weeks and plan to put it to use. I will definitely post some pics of that weekend, first weekend of August. I am anxious to see how well this product works.

    Hi Molly,
At my tropical party, Vidalia1 was kind enough to bring his potlifter and moved two large eggs. This is the perfect tool for that. It will work!

BTW, on an earlier post, you thanked me for sending you something. Unfortunately, it wasn't me.

Fred does carry them, but you'd need to go to his site to check on price. HTH.

$25 is the going price but I don't know about Fred but here's where I bought mine.

BTW the capacity is 200 pounds and that large you want weighs in at 140 pounds, but I'd remove the firebox and fire ring to make it even easier.

PS they really do work well!

Most people strap 'em in the seat with a seatbelt. Is that an option?

lots of thoughts, but most of them would get me banned  on to your problem ...the dealer running the fest should have staff there to help you load your egg. if you have help at home you should not need a pot lifter.. the real question? is how are the eggs packed at the mothership and would any of those packing materials be of use ... i will research this.
borrow the truck take lots of rope and bungie cords and moving blankets.

  • I ordered one fom Freds 6-8 weeks ago. They shipped my stuff promptly. It works very well, but overall I still prefer a John Deere with a forklift attachment.

Just got one from them for my Large BGE, under $30 to my door in a couple of days.
