Good morning Eggheads and those who prefer to remain cultless.
No plumbing emergency. I just got tired of being in Dreamscape in some oil-rich foreign country with lots of hills and scrub brush where I was attempting to cook a lot of beef tenderloin on a small propane griddle in the back of a truck for the oil workers. I was so disgusted with not having an Egg to cook on that I just walked away leaving hundreds of pounds of tenderloin sitting there in the hot sun. Enough is enough, and I just had enough. Then I was back in the carbon unit recharging station where I remained horizontal for a few time units, at least until I decided to go vertical for a while to 'cool my heels' a bit. It's amazing how frustrated and issed one can get while in Dreamscape. But elation and joy can also be achieved, along with pain and suffering, enthusiasm and lackadaisical, and a collage of environments and moods, all figments of one's imagination. Escape and re-entry can completely alter the scene. That is so cool...
But now that I'm in partially alert mode I may as well perform some duties. First, I will relieve some pressure from the plumbing system so that I shan't have to worry later on. Done!
Now on to the food preparation area where checking the refrigeration illuminator is so mundane that I'm oft tempted to ignore it altogether. But the training manual states that malfunction is inevitable and if detection is not made within a certain period the chilled contents therein will begin to lose their chillness and begin to deteriorate at an accelerated rate. Loss of rations would result in real-life frustration and being issed at having nothing to consume, not a good thing. Once again my suspicions were correct, the lamp is glowing brightly.
Utilizing the external observation portal I could see that Rodney Dangerbird appeared to be holding another of his continuing education classes. The class sat there in rapped boredom, having probably heard his little speech a hundred times. "There's security in numbers. Even so, one should not put all of their Eggs in one container. etc..." I think maybe he was showing off for Miss Mona's sake. He spotted me and waved the all clear sign.
A quick check of the Forum disclosed almost no activity at all, a sure sign that Eggheads are storing up energy for the down-coming weekend, a two-period time frame set aside specifically for Eggheads so that they may warm parts of husbandry units for later consumption. And their warming unit of choice... the Big Green Egg of course. Even with little activity there were 9 Members and 92 Guests waiting in the wings for something to read. With that I shall punch out and return to the charging station.
Say goodnight Leroy.

It's 10 pm on Wednesday downunder and I don't feel at all sleepy. In fact I'm terrified. I simply can't bring myself to open the door of the Westinghouse frost free (with ice maker).
It all started last weekend when my wife received a 'gift' of traditional Korean Kimchi from a co-worker.
This kilo sized chunk of fermented cabbage and chilli burned a hole in its plastic container within the first few days. I keep re-wrapping it in plastic bags but every morning there are tell tale splatters of bright orange juice that has leaked out overnight.
I think it is now feeding on the bags having exhausted its original container.
I'm worried it will attack the fridge lining or the glasss shelves next. And, if it gets out, it might try for our pets.
Has anyone got a good Korean beef ribs recipe? -
Here's a good one that I've done many times: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/KOREAN-STYLE-GRILLED-BEEF-SHORT-RIBS-AND-SCALLIONS-12552
