so i get it from my "inside" sources that chris is working hard with the whole foods folks, and they now have the 'bar codes' entered into the whole foods computer system here in the washington metro area (maybe their whole system, but around here for sure) ...chris and one of the managers paid a visit to a bunch of stores this week and you can now find your favorite dizzy pig rubs in the vienna, arlington, falls church, georgetown, and P street (i think thats it at the moment) stores!! ... .

and this saturday (thats tomorrow), chris will be set up doing a demo again (with help from me and some others - including the spawn if we can get her out of the fart sack - she has been working really hard this week bottling rubs for all of you!!) at the VIENNA virginia store from around 11 am to 3 pm .. .so stop on by and say hi!!! . .

Congrats Chris! Hopefully we will soon see Dizzy Pig a little farther north in their Lawrenceville NJ store. It seems like all summer they have a guy outside smoking ribs and chicken every saturday but they do not try to sell the rubs and sauces he uses just the food.

Wow! He's really going full steam ahead. Wish I could be there to help and especially to see a dream blossom into success.

But we have 7 Whole Food Stores in the Houston area and I will definitely want to volunteer to help demonstrate DP products when the time is right.

It's still kinda surreal, but when I look at my to-do list it starts getting real ;-)

No Falls Church yet, but you got the other stores right. The cool thing is it is in the system, so I think it will be easy for any store to hop on. Hopefully folks will be telling their local stores about us. As long as it's not all at once we should be able to keep up LOL!

Spawn's working out great. We'll miss her when she goes back to the books.

Thanks Tom! Let the manager (or team leader as WF calls them) know we are in the system, and maybe just maybe! I guess the ribs/chicken guy must be a whole foods person. Our local whole foods has a big wood burning pit they use to make the BBQ they sell.

I recently received a $50 gift card for Whole Foods but there isn't one close to my home and they don't sell products online. It sounds like a nice store but I would have to spend more in gas to visit the nearest location so I will have to wait until they expand into my area. Too bad since I have been wanting to try the DP products if I can find them locally.

I will sell the gift card for $40 with free shipping if anyone wants it. It is also good at their Wild Oats stores but there aren't any of those around me either.

Chris, we only have one WF in St. Louis right now, but I'd be happy to demo your rubs for them here. Even better would be the big boys in the area: Schnuck's, Dierbergs and Shop 'n' Save. Trader Joe's is expanding, too.
