World Pork Expo - June 6 and 7 in Des Moines, IA

Just wanted to let everyone know about the World Pork Expo this coming weekend at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, IA.
The contest will feature 61 teams from as far away as Arizona. On Friday, there is a Big Green Egg scramble which is like Iron Chef. We were lucky enough to get drawn for this. While this is going on, Dr. BBQ will be working on cooking the world's largest pork burger.
On Saturday the public will receive samples from the teams. Unlike a traditional contest, this features a whole hog category and pork loin.
Stop by and say high. Should be a good time.

Thanks. Lots of good teams showing up. I am sandwiched between Quau and Smokin Triggers (both ranked in top 10). Maybe I can spy on them.

Good luck man. We are getting excited about our comp comming up. I'm hoping we can make another one too. Our big plans last year of 4 or 5 this year are not working out. :(
