Half Moon Raised Grid

Thinking about getting a BGE Half Moon Raised Grid for my MBGE. Seems like it could be used w/o the drip pan as a replacement for a grill extender, though I don't see that configuration touted. With the drip pan, seems like I could start direct and finish indirect (or visa versa). I realize that there would be limited cooking area on a MBGE. Any reviews or thoughts appreciated.
