Wife and kids are out of town so I decided to make my first batch of ABTs. Ipod in ear and ingredients on patio, I lit a cigar.
Knowing full well what would happen as I seeded my japs by hand and smoked... well, my lips are on fire!
Good news (I guess) it is an inexpensive one.

I learned a long time ago man....nitrile gloves on the left hand, knife in the right.
We've all made that little mistake. I've rubbed my eyes, picked my nose, scratched my 'nether regions" - none too comfortable I must say. -
I'm OK, I REALLY know where not to touch.

If I could have no other I would choose Ashton VSG Illusion to last me through my days. My special occasion smokes are either Padron 1926s or the Fuente Anejos.
My "knocking around the yard" smoke is an El Rey del Mundo Maduro Robusto or a Bolivar belicoso.
I have a humidor full of Cubanos but I honestly prefer the premium Dominicans. -
Yeah, I learned last w/e as well... My hands were on fire for three days after working on the ABT's. I shoulda known. But next time, I will be in latex.
As for the smoke, the best one is the Excalibur #1 Maduro. It goes with everything coming off my egg!
For lawn mowing, I prefer the Flor de Oliva maduros. at ~$2.50 per stick you can't beat them! -

never done that.
for some reason, i can core jalapenos, habaneros, etc. with no issues on the hands. but ONCE (and only once) i was doing a giant amount of peppers (ABTs) for a party, and it took so long that eventually gave in and i rubbed the corner of my eye.
